Azul Board Game, Azul is a tile-placement game in which players compete for the highest score by claiming tiles and arranging them on their board to score points. Based on Portuguese tiles called azulejos, in Azul players collect sets of similarly colored tiles which they place on their player board. This competitive strategic game for two players retains the purity and elegance of the original Azul while adding an extra tactical dimension in which you determine the pattern in which tiles will be placed, in addition to drafting tiles to complete that pattern. Inspired by the stunning Portuguese azulejos, Azul challenges 2-4 players to draft and arrange beautifully crafted tiles to build the highest-scoring mosaic wall. Azul Duel invites you to play with light and pit opposites against each other. Extra points are on offer for collecting sets of the same color of tile, or for creating particular patterns, while there are penalties for taking tiles that you’re unable to use.
